Leroy High School - A school where excellence is expected!

Leroy High school is a k-12 unit school that is accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  It is located in the extreme northeastern corner of Washington County.  It is one mile from the Tombigbee River on Highway 43 and is approximately 60 miles north of Mobile.  In addition to the Leroy community, the school serves the students from Prestwick, St. Stephens, Frankville, Wagarville, Cortelyou, and Sunflower.  Additional students live in the McIntosh school district but have chosen to transport from their local area to attend school at Leroy.  The school also serves some students from Jackson, in Clarke County. 

Enrollment for Leroy High School is currently 831 students.  The student population is 63% Caucasian, 30% Africian-American, and 7% Native American.  Special education students make up 5% of the population.  5% are also migrant.
